Nick's 50's Diner

The food is great but the people are greater...if you have ever eaten here, you know this already.

Great, retro atmosphere. Clean and charming; staff was courteous l and food was good. We enjoyed breakfast early morning- bacon was crisp, eggs done to order and French toast was great. Cost as as expected. Definitely will go again...

I wish I could comment on the food, but I never got to eat. We came on a Saturday morning, and it was so crowded we waited forever before finally giving up. I can assume it's rather popular based on the crowd and prices seemed reasonable. It was also very clean and kind of cool with the 50s style theme. They really should just upgrade to a bigger place so they can seat more customers faster.

For a 70+ yr old, this place is " kool". The food has always been good. Prices are reasonable, esp. their specials. Servers have been attentive. I usually go their with friends. We get in and out. Good location. You can be on I-95 in a minute. We go at lunch time, lots of people, friendly noise & golden oldies on the background. Pictures of James Dean & corvettes on the walls. But the food comes out quickly, hot and tasty. At lunch time, it can be a little hard to find a parking spot.

This was the first time I've been to a packed restaurant and got my food in under 10 minutes. I had the corn beef hash & eggs & the hubby got the powerhouse omelet. Everything was fresh & great. Will definitely be back.

We were looking for a new breakfast location in Palm Beach and stumbled across Nicks. We gave it a shot and weren’t disappointed. The location is big with plenty of seating and even though it was packed, we only waited 5 minutes and were seated. Plenty of spacing between tables and with a toddler that’s extremely important. Their omelette was delicious and filling and staff very friendly. Will be returning. Cool 50’s vibe.

Fast service, great atmosphere, 50's style diner complete with Juke Box. Ordered country fried steak, eggs, hash browns. Steak was tender, nor over seasoned, eggs cooked perfectly and hash browns were nice and crispy! Will go again.

Awesome place! Very fast service, thought we would have to wait for our food since it was so packed but the food arrived quickly & it was very good. One of my favorite breakfast spots. Great food & great service!

This diner is in West Palm Beach, FL. I love diners. They have a great menu and the staff is very helpful. We were able to get a table right away without any wait.

The theme and decoration are great inside! The food was also amazing. They have scrapple!! Haven’t found that in a while. And the Oreo shake was delicious. Would definitely go again!

Don’t judge a book by its cover applies greatly to this restaurant. The location is in a shopping center and doesn’t look like a restaurant from a far on the outside but easy to get to though finding parking was a little hard. The decor looked great and made the experience more pleasing. The food came out fast and tasted great. The prices are amazing and the wait staff was friendly. This place will be busy and there might be a slight wait but it will be worth it.

We had a tight schedule, before a flight at Palm Beach International. I shouldn't have worried. We had a few minutes with our menus, which made me worry, but the waitress came, and everything else happened within minutes. I had the check within 10 minutes. The food was very good for a place that was so fast. The service was friendly and very attentive. The decor was 1950's diner, pleasant enough and clean. These waitresses move a lot of tables, but they are still friendly. Our waitress called me honey, which was nice. That song She Works Hard for the Money kept going through my brain. I had to leave a big tip. You should too. When I come back to this area, I will want breakfast here.

The decor was very cute and the service was great. Our waitress was attentive and friendly. The food wasn't anything special. We could have been eating frozen entrees and they would've tasted the same. The restaurant itself looked like it was in need of a thorough cleaning. It was a little dusty and grimey.

I had breakfast here this morning with a group. The food was your standard diner fair, which I happen to like. Everything was good, prepared well, and very enjoyable! Our waitress was pleasant and very competent. Prices were as expected, and quite reasonable. I would definitely eat here again.

I've been going there for about 28-30 years they always have very good food I went with my sister is needs to be gluten free & they had gluten free food there she was impressed

Been going here for more than 15 years, mostly for lunch on work days. Creamy chicken rice soup is a favorite. Some decent cheap specials. No frills, though. For example, the ham and cheese sandwich isn't even toasted. Service is consistently good. They have many long-time servers and lots of "regulars" who come in.

This was incredible food and positive atmosphere. The employees were so nice and you could tell they enjoyed the job and were very good at what they did! The food .. EXCELLENT AND FAST. They had a delicious gluten free bread. If you get sweet potato fries. Definitely ask for thousand Island dressing that goes on the Ruben for dipping. We had the Rachel and the Ruben. Also the soup was a black eyes pea soup to die for! All together a very Positive experience and will be back.

Great place for a quality breakfast or lunch. Servers are nice and also happy to help. Nothing romantic about this place. Home style cooking and food. Good "Diner" vibe. Even if you have to wait, the turnover is very fast.

Food was great, service was amazing. A small town feel with speedy service. The portions are large and the menu is extensive (something for everyone!) I got the hangover and it was no joke, delicious and way too much for me to finish!

First time dining in. Casual diner space. Bar to sit at as well. Food was very good. Daily specials not on display very well didn’t see until after we ordered. Not communicated from waitress as either. Service was good. No issues. You pay at a cashier station at end of bar. It is not really noticeable as well as the hostess stand. No long wait. They will not seat incomplete parties so be on time. Food was really good. Nice portions. The corned beef was AMAZING and filling. Coffee decent. Reasonably priced. I would come again.

If you are reading this review, and you like authentic diners, then you need to go to Nick's!!! Be careful, they do NOT take reservations and the line is crazy long on Sunday morning after 11.00. The menu is extensive, but doesnt stray from classics (meatloaf with soft boiled eggs!), and service is properly friendly/perfunctory. As the wait staff's short says, You can't beat Nick's meat!

Fantastic place, really good food and the service very fast, even when we got there were people waiting. The decoration is amazing and the service wonderful. The host and the attendants very nice. Price very reasonable. A win win.

Great food, home style breakfast and lunch at great prices. All the staff is very nice and the dining area is kept very clean.

Went there before going to the Palm Beach Convention Center. It was a Sunday for lunch and the place was packed. Good sign.I asked the waitress about some of the entrees and she said definitely the burger. It was good not great.My wife ordered the fresh beery salad with chicken. Lots of berries with a salad and chicken. She said it was very good.Want to return and try some other things.

Great find while in town for a concert. The food was really good and service was outstanding. It’s 50’s themed with 50’s music playing quietly in background, not overwhelming like some. Coffee was good and they served our food within 10 minutes of ordering. I had an omelette and son had pancakes and bacon.

Had breakfast and loved it. Prices were ok. Service was great! Location is right off I-95 Deco was excellent.

The food is okay. I had the traditional açai bowl and added an avocado on top. The slices of avocado were really slim and the açai tasted like it had freezer burn. Service is good though.

Wonderful place with Gluten-Free options (hard to find in a diner)!!! The Gluten-Free pancakes were amazing, and the service was friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back :)

This place is awesome -- some of the best breakfast food we've had at a diner! Our waitress, Jessi, was welcoming, professional, very knowledgeable of the menu, and provided the best service. The atmosphere was great, too. The other customers were really friendly. And our food... If they have the coconut cream pancakes as a special while you're here, get them! We highly recommend this place. (As a side note, I've lived in West Palm Beach for just over a year now, and I'm slightly annoyed with my husband for just now finally bringing me here -- LOL.)

This is a great old school dinner in West Palm Beach with plenty of seating with minimal wait. The menu is just as you would expect with everything from eggs and coffee to Cuban sandwich and coke. Plenty of seats at the county as well as tables and booths. Just off the highway with easy access and good parking.

WOW! Stumbled upon Nick's Diner this morning when looking up Gluten Free options in the area for breakfast. Restaurant was clean, attentive, and food was fabulous. Great portions, and as you can see great prices! I will definitely be back. Typical diner food and fun atmosphere, but most exciting for the Gluten Free community!

Walking into this place felt like stepping back a few decades. The decor is all appropriately 50s themed and the wait staff dress the part, too. My brother and I did breakfast here and boy did we get a good deal--heaping plates of food for great prices! The grits and biscuits and gravy were great and my brother shoveled in his enormous pancakes with glee. Although service was a little slow, I would definitely return here in a heartbeat.

The food was delicious. There was a wait but it was well worth the wait.

Good food and great service. We had a big party of 12 people with six adults and six kids at a very busy time, and they were totally on the ball with everything. Food came out quick, drinks were refilled quickly. Check came out when requested, and they didn't rush us out the door.

Omg this place was AMAZING!!! Everyone was so nice..service was quick..food was DELICIOUS!! The corn beef hash is on point..very much enjoyed our breakfast and definitely be back when we're in the area.

I’ve lived in South Florida for just over 4 years now and will be moving to Phoenix very soon. This is one of the places I will miss the most! Never had a single bad experience in probably over 50 visits. The staff is wonderful and down to earth. The line can be out the door and I can always get a seat right away at the bar. Food is always on point. There isn’t a single bad thing I could say about this place. I was always treated amazingly and will miss it dearly. Thanks for years of excellent food and service!
